In the recent CES event, Microsoft and Flickr previewed the first Flickr application which have been specifically designed for Windows Phone 7 and Windows 7 Slates. These apps are supported by Windows Azure back end and hence will provide a sleek user interface and excellent interconnectivity between the devices.

This new Flickr app for WP7 will be featuring embedded connected device synchronization so that sharing of content could be achieved efficiently by leveraging the RSS feeds along with Windows Azure platform. The application will facilitate a seamless consumer experience between the devices.

Well it seems that cloud technology and Windows Azure in combination are working wonderfully and will be a definitive approach in the future years. This application from Flickr will be available by January 31 2011.

  • Browse your Flickr photos in stunning high resolution display and touch navigation controls
