HTC Evo 3D vs Samsung Galaxy S vs HTC Desire HD

Let’s compare the two best Android devices Galaxy S and Desire HD currently on market with HTC Evo 3D and let’s look which one’s better.

Display:
Samsung Galaxy S has 4 inches AMOLEDs display with multi-touch input method, touch sensitive control and swype text inputs where as Desire HD has a 4.3 inch capacitive display.

Having a display of 4.3 inches, HTC Evo 3D has 3D display through which you can see 3D without wearing 3D glasses. This 3D technology is being lauded across the marketplace and the reason is its immersive 3D experience.

So, we can surely say that HTC Evo 3D has better display features than the Samsung Galaxy S and Desire HD.

Operating System:
The Galaxy S initially had the Android 2.1 but now Samsung has done improvements and offered users to upgrade to 2.2 Froyo to make the speed and stability improvements. The overlay of TouchWiz 3.0 UI is pleasant.

Desire HD comes up with Android 2.2 and runs HTC Sense UI.

What’s HTC Evo 3D has in this case?
Evo 3D has 2.3(Gingerbread) installed and it also includes the beautiful HTC’s brilliant UI overlay which adds more beauty to it. It adds different widgets and social networking functionality to the device.
So, we can say that HTC Evo 3D is much better than Samsung Galaxy S and Desire HD here, too.

HTC Evo 3D has the two 5megapixel color CMOS camera with auto-focus for 3D and 5megapixel color CMOS with auto-focus for 2D and 1.3megapixel color CMOS front camera. It has the dual LED flash. It let you capture stereoscopic images and videos. If you are not shooting in 3D, it offers 1080p and 24fps video feature.

Now, let’s have a look at the Samsung Galaxy S. It has a 5megapixel (2592 X 1944 pixels) camera, with an auto-focus feature. It has touch focus and face and smile detection feature too. It offers a video in 720p at 30fps. It also includes secondary VGA camera.

HTC Desire HD has a 8 MP camera. So when comes to 2D shooting HTC Desire HD wins over Evo 3D. But you can record 3D videos with Evo.

Power:
Evo 3D has a dual core MSM8660 (1.2 GHz) processor, 1GB of RAM and rechargeable 1730mAH battery. It’s powered by Qualcomm’s impressive snapdragon chipset.

Desire HD has 1GHz processor and 768 MB Ram.

Galaxy S has a 1 GHz ARM Cortex-A8 processor. Memory wise it provides 512MB which is more than enough for your day-to-day duties. But still it is not as well powerful as the HTC Evo 3D.

Build:
Galaxy S has dimensions (122.4 X 64.2 X 9.9mm) and weight of just 119 grams. It’s very slim and lightweight.

HTC Evo 3D is made from the decent, high quality materials and weighs just 170 grams. It has dimensions (126 X 65 X 12.1mm)

HTC Desire HD weighs 164gms and has dimensions of 123 x 68 x 11.8 mm.

As the conclusion, we have HTC Evo 3D as the winner as it is much better than the Galaxy S & Desire HD in all of the above specifications. Apart from its 3D feature, it has not gone down in other features as we have seen above, in detail.
