Galaxy-S Android 2.2 Froyo Firmware

The Firmware for Galaxy S, i9000 which runs on Android 2.2 Froyo is now available. Version of the firmware is I9000XXJP2.

Samsung-firmware server contains two firmwares-

• I9000XXJP1, file found corrupt.
• I9000XXJP2, file found ok. Try this one.
• Size of file 252 MB.
• Tar file size 341 MB.

This PDA file is available in most of the major languages in the world from English to Italian, from Slovenian to Chinese.

This may be the very first firmware for Samsung mobile phones with Android Froyo. You can download Android 2.2 and all other older firmwares for Galaxy-S HERE. Or you are free to wait for the official Android 2.2 update which is expected to be released by this September via Samsung KIES.
