Finally Apple’s iPad has started its journey in South Korea after the launch of the rival tablet device from Samsung which is the Galaxy Tab.

This is important to note that since January when this Apple’s magnificent device was launched, there were already seven million iPads sold all over the world which is pretty impressive.

There were about hundred preorder customers who were invited and were anxiously waiting to get their hands on this excellent gadget at the Seoul branch of wireless operator KT, which happens to be the sole Korean partner for the iDevices.

Well since November 17 there has been 50,000 preorders for the iPad which is a good beginning in this country according to the KT spokesman Ham Young-Jin.

The iPad’s starting cost will be about 192 dollars with 2 year contract, which might get elevated to more price with inclusion of some additional features in the device.

Well the only serious competitor and rival for the iPad is the newly launched seven inch screen Galaxy Tab which is already introduced in U.S. and Italy from Samsung Electronics.
