Loopt App Updated with Free Music

Loopt was updated for the iPhone and Android with a new user interface and geo-based texts recently. The app now has many other features like sending texts to nearby friends and to find their locations, notifications of proximity of their friends and many other user interface improvisations.

The best thing in the update is that free music is available through the use of a social networking site which wasn’t possible earlier. Through Loopt the user can see friends on a map by discovering their locations.

This network has some pretty integration with Foursquare and Gowalla who are now offering real, tangible rewards.

Loopt app is available on Android, iPhone and also Windows Phone, Blackberry in the U.S. only.
