Like Netflix, which started streaming videos and films in 2009, Hulu offers a wide range of TV shows, classic episodes, and also older movies. They’re usually available one day after the premieres, whether on Fox, ABC, or NBC. And now, since last November, their Hulu+ app provides access to iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch.
Hulu was originally created as a free service, with sporadic advertising. But, since there is nothing really free in this world, they had to find a way to please the Hollywood producers. That’s why they developed Hulu+, to be able to charge for specialty content. So, they charge $7.99 a month for the service, with a free one-week trial period. We still don’t know when Hulu will be available to the Android phones but, judging from their “leaks” on their website, it should be soon. Once again, only in the USA.
