Samsung Galaxy S Gingerbread Firmware Available Unofficially

Samsung galaxy s Android gingerbread
All of the lucky owners of Samsung Galaxy S have something really exciting to look forward today - an Android 2.3.2 Gingerbread, which is the newest firmware for this phone, has leaked on the Internet.

Users who tried the firmware are saying that they are satisfied with this Gingerbread firmware. Browser is working faster, and the layout is hardware accelerated. Unfortunately, Gingerbread screen-off animations we had on previous Samsung phones, e.g. Samsung Nexus S or HTC Droid Incredible, is not available yet.

The new firmware hasn't replaced the RFS file system, with the better solution. This means that this new firmware hasn't solved any lags and other problems which are common for Galaxy S.

This is a beta version of the firmware, so we hope that a new version will try to resolve these stalling issues Samsung Galaxy S users are experiencing
