Acer Iconia Tab A501 coming to AT&T for $480

What was confirmed by AT&T six months ago has been announced officially. The LTE 4G tablet will be available in the market from 18th September, 2011 and it will be running Android Honeycomb. If you want to get it in the lower price, you have to sign the 2-year Data contract and then you can get it for only $330. The original price is $480.

Data Plans start from $15 for 250 MB and 2GB for only $25. You can purchase it on month-to-month basis or you can use the monthly plan.

A501 is not very different from the A500 as it will have the 10.1 inches display, dual-core Tegra CPU, full size USB port and many more. All these features were also there in the A500.

The thing that is making me confuse is that why people will use the A501 by paying $480 while they can get the A500 for just $386. Another thing is that when we talk about Honeycomb, Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 is there with it. Let’s wait for 18th September, 2011 and see how much it will be popular.
