How to control Samsung Smart TV from Windows Phone?

Samsung has released its Smart TV remote controller app for both iPhone and Android, but the app is yet to debut on windows phone.

For windows phone users with Samsung Smart TV at their homes, here is the good news. Unofficial Samsung Remote app is now available for windows phone. The app can be used for controlling various functions of Samsung Smart TV like changing channels, increasing/decreasing volume, navigating smart hub, typing with keyboard on TV etc.

The app works with the following TV models:

• PDP 6500 and higher series
• LCD 650 and higher series
• LED 6500 and higher series

The app works well for basic needs, but one thing you must remember is the app is not licensed by Samsung.
